My Hero: Photographer Wilson Lee

Wilson Lee is a fresh graduate this year, he doesn't work as a full-time photographer, but as a photo artist, he already can't be just a "hobbyist".

This picture was taken at Richmond Park (wow it's close to our school, should go there sometime), in early morning when the fog was about to evaporate.

It hits me so much that whenever someone bring up Wilson, this is the picture appears on my mind. Wilson said that, at the time his gears were all wet, but he decided to take the shot anyway. I really appreciate how he try new things, and not to keep everything "normal". As a result, the bokeh and the flare caused by the droplet was amazing, and he would never get that if he "keeped the gear clean".

This reminds me to imagine how we can finish something, but not following routes. I remember I saw a quote somewhere, and it says it all:

Design is about how it can look like,
but not how it should look like.
